Introduction

Welcome to SwipeShot!

SwipeShot is an app for quickly cleaning up your iPhone photo gallery. We take your privacy seriously and want you to understand how our app works with your data.

What Data We Collect

1. Photo Library Access (Photos and Videos)

What: SwipeShot requests access to your photo library to read photos and videos.

Why: To show you your photos and videos for review and selection of which files to delete or save to favorites.

How It's Stored: All data remains only on your device. We do not upload, copy, or send your photos/videos anywhere.

Permission: You can revoke access at any time through iOS Settings → SwipeShot → Photos.

2. Media File Metadata

What: Creation date, file size, resolution, video duration.

Why: To group photos by month, identify large videos, and display file information.

How It's Stored: Locally on your device, not transmitted anywhere.

3. App Usage Progress

What: Which months you've reviewed, which files are in the deletion queue, which are in favorites.

Why: To save your progress between sessions and not lose selected files when closing the app.

How It's Stored: In a local JSON file on your device. Not synced to cloud, not sent to server.

What We DO NOT Collect

SwipeShot DOES NOT collect:

• ❌ Your name, email, phone number
• ❌ Location data
• ❌ Device information (model, UDID)
• ❌ IP address
• ❌ App usage analytics
• ❌ Advertising identifiers
• ❌ Any other personal data

How We Use Data

SwipeShot uses data only for app functionality:

1. Display Gallery — show your photos and videos
2. Group by Month — sort files by creation date
3. Delete Files — delete files you selected from photo library
4. Favorites — add selected files to system album "SwipeShot Favorites"
5. Save Progress — remember where you left off

We DO NOT use data for:

• ❌ Advertising
• ❌ Analytics
• ❌ Selling to third parties
• ❌ Machine learning
• ❌ Any other purposes

Data Sharing with Third Parties

SwipeShot DOES NOT share your data with third parties.

We have no:

• ❌ Servers for data storage
• ❌ Analytics partners (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• ❌ Ad networks
• ❌ Cloud synchronization

All data remains only on your iPhone.

How We Protect Data

Local Storage

All data is stored locally on your device in the protected app sandbox. Other apps cannot access this data.

Encryption

iOS automatically encrypts app data when the device is locked.

Data Deletion

When you delete SwipeShot, all app data is automatically deleted by iOS.

Your Rights

Right to Access

All your data is on your device. You can view it at any time in the app.

Right to Deletion

You can delete all SwipeShot data:

1. Delete the app from your device
2. iOS will automatically delete all app data

Right to Revoke Permissions

You can revoke photo library access:

1. Open iOS Settings
2. Find SwipeShot
3. Tap "Photos"
4. Select "None" or "Selected Photos"

Children

SwipeShot is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you are a parent and discover your child is using the app, please contact us.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We may update this privacy policy. For significant changes, we will notify you through:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document
• In-app notification (if necessary)

We recommend checking this page periodically for changes.

Legal Compliance

SwipeShot complies with:

• GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation, EU)
• CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act, USA)
• App Store Review Guidelines (Apple)

Since we do not collect personal data on servers, most requirements of these laws do not apply to us.
